SYNOPSIS
When Yoko Kanno and her band Seatbelts created the score for Cowboy Bebop in 1998, they redefined what an anime soundtrack could be. Jazz-fueled, cinematic, and unbound by genre, the music became as central to the series as its storytelling—propelling scenes with frenetic big-band energy (“Tank!”), brooding melancholy (“The Real Folk Blues”), and everything in between.
In 2018, this groundbreaking soundtrack finally received an official vinyl release, bundled within the Cowboy Bebop Collector’s Edition set. Pressed with audiophiles in mind, the vinyl edition gave fans the chance to experience the soundtrack with the warmth and depth it deserved, turning one of anime’s most iconic scores into a centerpiece for record shelves worldwide.
The Collector’s Edition set wasn’t just about the music—it was a full celebration of the Cowboy Bebop legacy.
