Nearly two decades after its original 1994 release, Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Nothing Much Better To Do returned in a Deluxe Edition that reintroduced this cult classic to a new generation. Often called the “godfather of Harajuku,” Fujiwara was already a cultural icon for shaping Japan’s street fashion and creative scene, but this album highlighted his musical side: a relaxed, genre-blurring blend of downtempo grooves, hip-hop beats, and acoustic textures.
